Sarawak is part of the island of Borneo.

Increasing demand for palm oil has resulted in massive deforestation, taking away natural resources from the Penan,who rely on the jungles for subsistenance. To create a different means of income for the Penan,who are known for their intricate handicrafts, the Sarawak Economic Development Council established Sarakraf, a venture to promote these crafts. We have selected those items that best fit our mission at ecogear and we hope you enjoy your purchases!
