Shipping

All purchases ship via Canada post. With our free shipping service, only the higher value items starting from $24.95 and up are shipped with a tracking number. Others are shipped via regular air mail which will not allow you to track your purchase. In this case, we ask that you allow 2-4 weeks from the shipment notification you will receive from us, to actually receive your order. If the order is still not received after 4 weeks, let us know by email "eco[at]eco-gear.ca" and we will resend the package. We do this for the simple reason that lower value items such as the $5 handmade cards or recycled paper bracelets simply cost too much to send by Expedited mail. Yet, these are items that we feel, deserve every bit of support that we can give.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with the item you received, simply mail it back to us at the address posted on the right. We will issue a full refund once we receive the product. Do give us a heads up if you will be returning an item by sending us an email to "eco[at]eco-gear.ca". We will refund only the purchase amount and not the cost of returning the goods. In cases where the goods may have been damaged in the shipping, we will pay for the costs of returns as well.

If you're not sure what size of clothing you should be ordering, please do connect with us to discuss best possible fits for you. Most of the items we make offer stretch which means a couple of different sizes will fit you but then again, we want to make sure you look your best in Eco Gear and we can do this by discussing your personal preferences for how you like your clothing to fit.

Please note the time limits for returns is 45 days from the date you receive shipment notification.

Gift Services

We package all shipments using recycled boxes and envelopes whenever possible.If your purchase is a gift and you would like it packaged in new packaging, simply send us a note after you receive your purchase notification( this is an auto email sent to you after you've made a successful purchase ) To personalise your gift, we can insert one of our handmade greeting cards from Kenya with your personal message.

Clothing info and care

Our clothing product uses two different types of fibres. The main product is the recycled cottons and recycled PET fibres. Shrinkage on these products averages 4%. While we do suggest hand washing and air drying to lessen your impact on the environment, they are safe to machine wash and dry.

The second product uses jute viscose which is found only in items shown in our yoga collection. These items can also be machine washed and dried but for best results, please machine wash and lay flat to dry. Wring lightly after wash to remove excess water and place it on a towel. If you are hanging to dry, hang the item midway through its length and avoid folding it too many times on the hanger. Jute viscose creases easily and if necessary, you can iron out any wrinkles by using a medium setting on your iron with lots of steam to relax the wrinkles.

We will cover the liability of purchases made through this web site only if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own. If your bank holds you responsible for fraudulent charges, we will cover your liability up to $50.00.
